Obituary for Konstantine Petros

Konstantine Petros, Jr. “Deno”, 69, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2018. He was born in Toledo on October 10, 1948 to Georgia and Konstantine Sr. who both preceded him.
Deno was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School class of 1966, where he wrestled and played football. He went on to graduate from The University of Toledo. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Corrections Officer at the Lucas County Sherriff’s department and was called “Connie” by his co-workers who thought very highly of him. He enjoyed history, astronomy, politics, and had a Black Belt in Karate. Deno was a longtime active member at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and was a member of AHEPA. He was very proud of and cherished his Greek heritage. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams being the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Red Wings, and The University of Toledo Rockets. He enjoyed watching sporting events and went to countless games and matches of his beloved nieces and nephews. Throughout his life, Deno enjoyed traveling extensively and visited numerous countries throughout the world. He was beyond generous to his family and spoiled his nieces and nephews whenever he had the chance. He will be remembered as a kind, funny, big hearted gentleman who devoted his entire life to his family.
