Lana L. Loeb, 84, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2016 in her home after a brief illness. She was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on June 22, 1932 to Julia and William Collins.
Lana and her late husband Bill Loeb enjoyed traveling, basking in the sun, and visiting the Toledo Zoo. She took pride in her home, family, and work. Lana was an excellent waitress at several Toledo restaurants.
Lana is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra Gargac and Vicki (Tony) Hampton; grandchildren, Brad, Jason, Andrea, Bob, Michael, Bethann; great-grandchildren, Maison, Brianna, Bella, Marleigh, Logan, Iain, Liam, Eliza, Kaidyn, and Dmitri. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, and was the last survivor of her 12 siblings.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday February 11, 2017 with visitation beginning at 11:00am in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. where a service will follow at 1:00pm. Her interment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or The Toledo Zoo.
