Pauline Roark Stieben went home to the Lord on January 28, 2015. She was born in Verda, KY and was the daughter of Hunter and Maggie Roark. Pauline had lived in the City of Toledo since the age of 17. She was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she volunteered her talents in the Groceries for Life, the MOPS, and taught Sunday School. She was formerly employed by W.T. Grant and Gulf Oil, in Toledo.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rolland Stieben; her five adopted children, whom she was very proud of, Bruce (Tina) Stieben, Glenda (Mike) Noss, Chris (Tiffiany) Stieben, Tammy (Brandt) Corral, and Darrel (Tammy) Stieben. She also leaves many grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Glenda Phillips of Harlan, KY.
Friends are invited to visit from 3-7 p.m. Friday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads). Friends may also visit after 10 a,m, Saturday, until the funeral services at 11 a.m., at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Road, Toledo. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions in memory of Pauline may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church (Groceries for Life or Deacons Fund).
