Mrs Kohn, I would like express my sympathy in the loss of your loving husband Wayne. He was one of the really nice guys and it was a privilege to know him. Dick Hubaker and I played golf with Wayne and Gary G. a few times during our time at LOF. I remember you from the Point Place Library. Regards, Maynard

Mr. Kohn was a terrific person and I am glad to have known him. He was always patient with me when I was a child, a great baseball coach, and a very wise man. You are fortunate to have had him as a husband and father. You all have my sympathies.

Dear Mrs. Kohn, Jeff, Kevin, Kris and your families: Having just learned of Mr. Kohn's passing, please accept my condolences on your great loss. No one who had the good fortune to interact with the Kohn family ever came away thinking that Mr. Kohn was less than the consummate gentleman, husband, father or friend. For me personally, those days spent at 119th Street with members of the family were among my fondest memories of the time. While I haven't had the good fortune to see you all in many, many years, my memories of those halcyon days always remain with me. I am sorry I could not get back to Toledo today to share your tribute to Mr. Kohn but you will never be far from my thoughts. We are all better off for having known your husband, father and grandfather. Sincerest regards, Elliott
