Daron Ray Allen Obituary

Daron Ray Allen, 58 of Toledo, Ohio departed this life on Tuesday August 27, 2019. He was born in Drew, Mississippi to the late Willie Lee Allen Sr. and the late Lula Mae Allen on July 3, 1961. He attended Mississippi public schools. He relocated to Toledo, Ohio in the early 1980's

Daron worked many years at HAI and CareStar, but later fell in love with landscaping. He eventually started his own landscaping company, Total Lawn Care. He worked diligently, day and night for many years, providing excellent service. Alongside of him was his son Aakif, together they became a dynamic duo.

Daron was self-less, he would give his last to family and friends. He always had a joke, comment, or opinion and he would always speak his mind, whether it was appropriate or not. He wasn't a traditional man; he made his own rules and definitely danced to his own beat. He enjoyed watching football, the Oakland Raiders to be exact. He was a committed father.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Daughters: Darkisha Nicks, Valencia Nicks, La'Teamia Allen, and La'Tasia Allen of Toledo, OH, Sons: Aakif Nicks, Daron Gardner, and Marquis Walker of Toledo, OH, Sisters and Brothers: Earnestine Simpson(deceased), Bobbie Allen of Lafayette, LA, Dennis Allen of Hattiesburg, MS, Trudy Allen, Kenneth Allen Sr., Willie Allen Jr. (Emily) of Lafayette, LA, Ronald Allen of Dayton, OH, and Mary Robinson of Cleveland, MS, Grandkids: Deonta, Lewis, Mekhi, Raytoyius, Mariah, Myles, Monte, Rayonna, Ky'Lee, and Rayna of Toledo, OH, Godmother and Godfather: Imogene Lott and Curly Bill of Toledo, OH, Dear Friend: Darryl Ayers of Livingston, TX and a host of relatives and friends.
