<p>Mass of Christian Burial for Andrew R. Laudato, 75, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Laudato passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.</p><p><br></p><p>Born March 15, 1940 in East Cleveland, he has lived in Mentor for more than 25 years. </p><p><br></p><p>He was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church. Andy was an avid model car collector and enjoyed baking for others, watching Notre Dame Football and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the first CYO coach to win the city championship in football for Saint Jerome Parish in 1971. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivors are his children, Shelley Laudato of Akron, Lisa Giunta of Mentor, Andrew (Paola) of Wickliffe and Nikki (Chuck) Cantrell of Painesville Township; grandchildren, Brittany, Sam and Andie Marie Giunta; Andrew, Anthony and Angelo Laudato and C.J., Chase, Carter and Cali Cantrell; great-granddaughter, Ella; sister, Judy Nekola of Mentor and brothers, Don (Pat) Laudato and John (Diane) Laudato, both of Mentor. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families, and his sister-in-law, Janet (Robert) Birtley of Mentor.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Bonnie, on April 1, 2009. His parents, Andrew and Lena Laudato, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Toni Laudato and brother-in-law, Ken Nekola are also deceased. </p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Final resting place will be in the Chapel of Everlasting Memories Mausoleum at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
