Barbara L. Yeagley

Services for Barbara L. (Eggers) Yeagley, 49, of Willowick, will be at 3 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Occupancy limits, social distancing and the use of masks will be required.

Barbara passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Hospice House in Cleveland, surrounded by her family.

Born March 19, 1971 in Willoughby, she was lifelong Lake County resident.

She enjoyed working on her studies to become a paralegal and researching family genealogy on Ancestry.com and playing Mahjong. She was also very active in the PTA at Royalview Elementary School in Willowick for many years, serving as treasurer and volunteering in the classrooms.

Barb was employed as a proof operator at Ohio Savings Bank for about nine years, and left to become more involved with her daughter’s education at Royalview. She later began her studies to become a paralegal.

Survivors are her husband of 27 years, James Yeagley, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Yeagley; mother, Marietta Coffman; father, Clarence “J.R.” Eggers; siblings, Renee (Joe) Poppy, Amber Coffman, Frank Coffman, Richard Eggers and Kenneth Eggers. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Coffman, her niece, Joelle Poppy and her best friend and soul mate, Jazmyne, her rescue dog.

Private family burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
