Bertha I. Villani

Services for Bertha Irene (Bancroft) Villani, 77, of Citrus Springs, FL, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Villani passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL.

Born May 16, 1937 in Willoughby, she was a longtime Lake County resident before moving to Citrus Springs several years ago.

She enjoyed reading, baking and visiting the local Wal-Mart store.

Mrs. Villani was employed as a secretary at AGA Gas Company for more than 20 years, retiring in 2000.

Survivors are her husband, Loren Pearson of Citrus Springs; children, Cynthia (Bill) Leonello of Mentor and Victoria (Joe) Masar of Painesville Twp.; granddaughters, Hannah Leonello and Emily Masar. She also leaves her former husband, Thomas Villani and several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Louis Kadet in 2000. Her parents, George and Dorothy (Hale) Bancroft, brothers, Leonard Tucker and Clifford Bancroft and sister, Betty Prall are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 and 6-8 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
