Services for Betty M. (Hilliard) Backus, 98, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby
Mrs. Backus passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
Born August 21, 1916 in Pittsburgh, she was an Eastlake resident.
Survivors are her children, Carol (Russ) Lang, Robert (Virginia), Jim (Joyce) Backus and Betty (Denny) Dale; ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Claire and Gene Ressler and sister, Georgie Edminston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Backus on March 21, 1992.
The family will receive friends from on Saturday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
