Betty Ray (Campbell) Green passed away peacefully July 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones, reuniting with her loving husband, James A. Green, on their 60th wedding anniversary. <br> <br>Born to Raymond and Hazel Campbell on July 24, 1938 in Palmer, Tennessee, Betty had 13 siblings: Alma Lee, Martha, Juanita, Lucile, Suzie, Wilma, Barbara, Linda, Sonny, Bobby Jo, Earl, Marty, and Paul Edward. <br><br>She is survived by all nine of her children; Jimmy (Judy), Michael, Ken (Ritchie), Ann (Mike), Dona (Tony), Janie (John), David (Patti), Linda (John) and Brenda (Steve); 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.<br><br>A loyal Cleveland sports fan for over 50 years, the TV didn’t go off until a game was over. Her years of patience finally paid off when she saw her beloved Cleveland Cavaliers win the championship this year. <br><br>She loved scratch offs, back porch sitting in the summertime, garage sales, country music, and playing rummy around the kitchen table. <br><br>Betty also loved fishing and proudly displayed her largest bass on the wall of her home. She never forgot a birthday or Christmas card and her southern cooking was deemed impossible to replicate. <br><br>At Betty’s request, there will be a private family gathering at her home in lieu of a service.<br>

Born to Raymond and Hazel Campbell on July 24, 1938 in Palmer, Tennessee, Betty had 13 siblings: Alma Lee, Martha, Juanita, Lucile, Suzie, Wilma, Barbara, Linda, Sonny, Bobby Jo, Earl, Marty, and Paul Edward.
