A Christian memorial service for Brenda J. (Fish) Luciani, 50, of Eastlake, will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 8 PM at The First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, 4785 Shankland Road, Willoughby.
Family and close friends are welcome to attend. Brenda’s family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday, at the Church, prior to the service. The Rev. Lynn Thompson Bryant will officiate at the service.
Brenda passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Cleveland on Friday, July 25, 2014.
Born October 28, 1963, in Cleveland, she was a lifetime Lake County resident.
She was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby. She also shared her love and belief of Jesus Christ as a passionate Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School organizer and Elder of her congregation.
A friend to all, this spoon-singing, dancing queen was the life of every party. Her smile lit up a room and happiness poured from her soul. She devoted her life to her children and family; she was a mother whose love knew no boundaries. And finally, there was no chocolate in this world she didn’t call a friend and wouldn’t indulge in with delight! She will be greatly missed, remembered forever and treasured in the hearts of all that knew her. To call her amazing would be an understatement.
A teacher to many, Brenda received her bachelor’s degree at Bowling Green State University/Cleveland State University and went on to earn her master’s degree in order to share her love of learning with elementary school children across Northeast Ohio.
Brenda was the devoted wife of Timothy J. Luciani; loving mother of Nina C. Luciani, Carly M. Luciani and Jensen N. Luciani; beloved daughter of Carol R. (Randolph) and Thomas E. Fish of Wickliffe; dear sister of Thomas E. (Elizabeth) Fish, Jr. of Moreland Hills, and Karla J. (William) Lindsey (Fish) of Wickliffe. She also leaves her father-in-law, Carmen V. Luciani and sisters-in-law, Nancy A. (Dale) McCorkle (Luciani) and Kathy L. (Ronald) Russo (Luciani) and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
Arrangements entrusted to Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
