Bruce A. Gravens, 68, of Kirtland, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at his home in Kirtland.
He was a lifelong Lake County resident, having lived in Kirtland for the past 20 years.
Bruce served in the United States Army as a Ranger. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and Expert Marksman Medals. Bruce was most happy spending time with family, golfing, enjoying cigars and conversations with friends.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kerry (Seimon) Gravens; daughter, Courtney Gravens and son, Brandon (Stefanie) Gravens; granddaughter, Mila Gravens; mother, Sophie Mahovlic and brothers, Blair and Blaine Gravens and Kenny Urbancic. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.
The family will host a celebration of Bruce’s life at from 3-7 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Denis Golf Club and Party Center, 10660 Chardon Road, (U.S. Route 6) in Chardon Township, as per his wish for a “PARTY.”
