Services for Burndetta H. (Linger) Stafanick, 98, of Willoughby, will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at The Lyons Chapel at the Nason Center of Breckenridge Village, 36859 Ridge Road, Willoughby.

Mrs. Stafanick passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby.

Born September 15, 1915 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby for the past 61 years.

She was a member of Erieside Church on the Boulevard in Willowick, where she served as a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors are her children, Allen (Leslie) Stafanick of Galena, IL and Judith (Jerry) Johnson of Leroy Township; grandchildren, Jill Johnson (Dustin Bigley), Jennifer Johnson, Barbara (Jeff) Freeman and Anne Colao; great granddaughters, Jocelyn and Danielle Freeman; sister, Elizabeth Linger of Willoughby; brother, Douglas (Norma) Linger of Willoughby Hills. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1971. Her parents, Henry and Elizabeth (Warmarskirchen) Linger and brother, Delwin Linger are also deceased.

The Rev. Larry A. Pozza of Erieside Church on the Boulevard will officiate at the service. Private family burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
