Camilla A. Bolaney Obituary

Camilla A. Bolaney, 56, of Willoughby, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Mentor.

She was born on July 19, 1963 in Willoughby.

Camilla, or Cami as many would have called her, was a woman that many people would have referred to as sunshine. She was a hard worker, and you’ll never have seen anyone work harder than Cami when she was trying to put a smile on someone’s face. She loved warm weather, gardening, and most of all her children and family. Some of her happiest moments were lounging in the sun while she talked to those she loved the most.

She is survived by her children, Cassie Cavell (Stephen), Jacqueline Palshook, and Anthony Tyler Bolaney; grandchildren, Kevin, Cory Jr. (Junbug), Jackson, and Shane; mother, Missy Wicks; siblings, Michele Weigle (Freddie), Sabrina Balan (Cristian), Lindsay Simko (fiancé David), and Michael Simko and her fiancé, Rick Adams.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beverly Peterson; her father, Michael P. Simko, and by her late husband, Michael Palshook.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 6-8PM at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Her final resting place will be in Perry Cemetery, located at Center Road and Middle Ridge Road, in Perry. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 12 noon.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed and enforced, both at the funeral home and at the cemetery, so visitors may experience a time of waiting before being able to enter the building. You are encouraged to wear a mask as well, for your own and for others health.
