Funeral services for Carole M. Stevens, 84, of Painesville Twp. will be 11 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Pastor Beth Wilterdink of Hope Ridge United Methodist Church will officiate.<br><br>The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the funeral home.<br><br>Carole passed away peacefully Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Symphony at Mentor. <br><br>Born November 7, 1933 in Cleveland, she was a longtime resident of Mentor.<br><br>Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker. She was an active member of Hope Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed time with her friends and family and time spent with the Red Hat ladies. She was an active volunteer throughout her life. <br><br>Survivors include her daughter, Janice C. (Greg) Daderko; son, Robert K. (Laura) Stevens; grandchildren, Brian and Patrick Daderko, Christen (Kellen) Lewis, Andrew Stevens, Maggie (Cody) Erhardt, and Clay Stevens; great-grandchildren, Liam, Brooklyn, Carson, Elizabeth, Peter, Arthur and Lorelei; siblings, Marilyn Mancini and Richard H. (Karen) Knierim.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Stevens in 1991. <br><br>Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.<br><br>Family suggests contributions be made to Hope Ridge United Methodist Church, 9870 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Mentor, OH 44060 or Symphony at Mentor, 8155 Mentor Hills Drive, Mentor, OH 44060.<br>
