Services for Christine A. “Chris” (Gaydos) Davies, 63, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at The First Baptist Church of Willowick, 31433 Vine Street, Willowick. The Rev. Robert P. Mieden will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Chris Davies passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at her home.
Born June 27, 1952 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby for the past nine years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Willowick and a volunteer at the City Mission in Cleveland.
Mrs. Davies was employed as a Registered Nurse with the American Red Cross for 20 years.
Survivors are her children, James (Danielle) Davies of Willowick and Jennifer Davies of New York City, NY; grandchildren, Jonathan, Elisabeth, Addison and Robbie and sister, Betsy (Tom) Reed of Mentor. She also leaves her two nieces and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in June 2008; her father, Albert Gaydos in 1988 and her mother, Betty (Gaydos) Fisher in 2016.
Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights following the service on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to The First Baptist Church of Willowick, 31433 Vine Street, Willowick, OH 44095.
