Services for Cletus L. Workman, 78, of Painesville, will be at 1 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Pastor Donald Brickman, chaplain of Grace Hospice, will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday (today), September 6, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Workman passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born February 9, 1940 in Breedon, WV, he has lived in Lake County for more than 30 years.

He loved spending time with his wife, riding his bike around the neighborhood, tinkering and rebuilding lawn mowers and bicycles.

Mr. Workman was employed as a baker.

Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Willa (Cunningham); daughters, Dana Jean Workman and Jessica Ann Workman; grandchildren, Private Desmond James Taylor, Jr., Destiny Jade Taylor and Samir Christopher Spikes; brothers, Orville and Manuel and sister-in-law, Clara Roth.

He also leaves his children from his first marriage, Debbie, Patty, Mary Ann, Dennis, Eddy and their children, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Brooke (Vance) Workman and his siblings, Donald Lee, Denny, Irma, Hildred, Elsie and Annie.

Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery following the service on Friday.
