Obituary
Memorial services for Clinton L. Blazek, 84, of Willoughby, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald R. Perks of Willoughby United Methodist Church will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Blazek passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born January 9, 1933 in Cleveland, he has lived in Willoughby since 1959.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, American-Legion Palmer-Roberts Post 214 in Willoughby where he served as a past commander, was an avid woodworker, model builder and longtime volunteer with Meals-on-Wheels.
Mr. Blazek was employed as tooling manager at Endura Plastics in Kirtland and retired from Tri-Tech Molding in McKean, PA. He retired in 1998.
Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Sally (Daniels) Blazek; daughters, Beverly (Robert) Hottois of Southlake, TX and Betsy (Tony) Pasquino of Wickliffe; grandchildren, Daniel, Haley, Angelo, Blair, Kiley, Brooke, Tyler and Patrick and brother, John (Elsie) Blazek of Willoughby. He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Holly Blazek of Chester Township.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Blazek on March 29, 2007. His parents, John and Florence (Gnau) Blazek and brother, Ronald Blazek are also deceased.
Private family interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery.
