Services for Cora Jane (nee: Smith) (Ferrill) Nathanson, 101, of Mentor, will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Mark Hord of Eastlake Baptist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nathanson passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Cora was born July 13, 1917 in Loving, GA, she has lived in Lake County for more than 20 years.

She was a member of Eastlake Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, painting, sewing, quilting and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Nathanson was a self-employed beautician for many years.

Survivors are her sons, Wayne Ferrill and Frank Ferrill; grandchildren, Dawn (Mark), Lori (Dave), Lisa (Mark) and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Arthur Nathanson, on May 5, 2007. Her parents, Leroy and Mary (Richards) Smith and eight siblings are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service on Thursday.
