Funeral services for David A. Janda, 73, of Concord Twp., will be at 7 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.<br><br>The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.<br><br>Mr. Janda passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Middlefield. <br><br>He was born June 2, 1944 in Painesville.<br><br>David was the owner of Janda’s Yard Care. He loved to fish and hunt. He was an U.S. Army Veteran.<br><br>Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jennifer (Handley) Janda; step-daughters, Lisa (Mike) Baitt and Catherine (Richard) Holder; grandchildren, Nicole, Laura, Julia, and Michael Baitt and Jared and Jennifer Holder; adoptive brother, James (Vida) Prekler and adoptive sister, Roberta (Ron) Hopewell.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Zeffie Janda and adoptive parents, George and Margaret Prekler.<br><br>Family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060 or to a favorite charity of your choice.<br><br>Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor<br>
