<p>Services for David A. Kordic, 77, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Sister Diana Stano, of the Order of Sisters of St. Ursula will officiate at the service.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Kordic passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>Born January 26, 1938 in Cleveland, he has lived in Willoughby for the past 46 years.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed wood crafting, visiting casinos and gambling and playing pool with his sons. </p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Kordic was employed as a wire weaver at the former Lindsey Wire Weaving Company in Cleveland and then as the head custodian at the former McKinley Elementary School in Willoughby for more than 20 years. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Newlon); sons, Mark (Eileen) Kordic of Eastlake and Clint (Michiko) Kordic of Willoughby; brothers, Thomas P. Kordic and Richard E. Kordic and sister, Mary Ann Kratovill. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families, and his best buddy, Bandit. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Julia (Stano) Kordic.</p><p><br></p><p>Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens, following the service on Thursday.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 Saint Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602. </p><p><br></p>
