Donald V. Baker

Services for Donald V. Baker, 62, of Mentor, will be at 8 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Stoney Drain of Painesville Baptist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Don passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home.

Born February 14, 1956 in Madison College, TN, he has lived in Mentor for the past 21 years.

He will be remembered as a hard-working, family loving man and had a special relationship with his grandson, Justen, who lovingly called him papa. Don was also an avid NASCAR fan and auto enthusiast.

Don was employed as a millwright at Formtek of Cleveland for more than 30 years.

Survivors are his wife of 30 years, Diane (Fazio) Baker; children, Kyle and Tawny; grandson, Justen; mother, Frances (Myers) Baker and siblings, Charlotte, Sharon, Linda, Mike, William, Randy, Christopher and Danny. He also leaves special friends, Kathy, Nikki, Roxanne and Bill. He is also leaves many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and brothers, James and David Baker.

Graveside services and burial will be in Mentor Cemetery on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:30 AM.
