Services for Doris J. Hollis, 86, formerly of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, followed by interment at Mentor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM on Monday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Hollis passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Sun City Center, Florida.

Born November 30, 1929 in Shadyside, she had lived in Willoughby for the past 48 years before moving to Sun City Center last year. She and her husband enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years after their retirement.

She was all about her family and enjoyed crafting and singing hymns at the nursing home.

Mrs. Hollis was employed as a teller at the former BankOne at Shoregate Shopping Center in Willowick.

Survivors are her daughters, Janet (Dan) Snodgrass of Madison and Carol (Steve) Kock of Ruskin, FL; grandchildren, Jeanette Snodgrass, Julie Moore, Chad Kock and Amber Kock; five great-grandchildren and brother, Dick Fosnot.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Glenn W. Hollis on January 19, 2005 and her son, Gary A. Hollis on July 2, 2001. Her parents, Harry and Mary (Sammons) Fosnot and brother, Ralph Fosnot are also deceased.
