Services for Dorothy Jean (Parker) Baier, 87, of Treasure Island, FL, formerly of Willoughby, will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald R. Perks, of Willoughby United Methodist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baier passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her home.

Born January 24, 1930 in Kirtland, she was a longtime Kirtland/Willoughby resident before moving to Treasure Island, Florida more than 40 years ago.

She was a graduate of the former Willoughby Union High School, class of 1948 and Kent State University.

Mrs. Baier was employed as a teacher in the Willoughby School System before moving to Florida.

Survivors are her son, Kirk (Diane) Baier and granddaughter, Kathy Baier all of Buford, GA; brothers, Richard (Judy) Parker of Willoughby and Don (Rebecca) Parker of Cleveland, GA. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Merl and Edna (Garvin) Parker.

Final resting place will be in Highland Park Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.
