Funeral service for Edmund J. Garczynski age 70 of Willoughby will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Reverend Donald R. Perks of Willoughby United Methodist Church will officiate at the service. <br><br>Mr. Garczynski passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2015 at Mount Saint Joseph Rehabilitation Center in Euclid. <br><br>He was born August 1, 1944 in Cleveland. <br><br>He worked at Rockwell Automation, formerly known as Reliance Electric for 37 years. Following his retirement he worked at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Eastlake as a custodian. He belonged to three local coin clubs and the Lake County Cruisers, a car club. <br><br>Survivors include his wife Madeline (LaBant) for 47 years; son Jeff Garczynski of Eastlake; siblings Barbara Ventura of Parma, Paul (Cookie) Garczynski of North Ridgeville, Roseanne (Tom) Weiksner of Independence, and John (Jennifer) Garczynski of Strongsville; uncle to many.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Cecilia Garczynski; son Eric Garczynski in 2003; brother Ronald Garczynski. <br><br>Family will receive friends 1-3 P.M. and 5-7 P.M. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44110. <br>
