Frederick E. Fabert

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Fred Fabert, 67, of Painesville, will be at 4 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Fabert passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born October 16, 1951 in Cleveland, he has lived in Lake County for the past 39 years.

He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Fred has been employed at Proficient Machining in Mentor for the past 38 years.

Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Karen (Evitts) Fabert and her son, Shawn Palker; brothers-in-law, Ron, Terry and Tom and sister-in-law, Trula and many close nieces and nephews and their families. He also leaves his mother, Frances Newberg; his daughter, three brothers, one sister and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellrie Morgan and one brother.
