Private family services have been held for Germaine K. (Pierson) Nimietz, 83, of Euclid. Mrs. Nimietz passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Heather Hill Nursing Home in Munson Township. Born Germaine Hodges on March 21, 1929 in Cleveland, she was a resident of Euclid for more than 50 years. Mrs. Nimietz was retired from the Euclid Board of Education. She is survived by her son, Eric (Joan) Pierson; grandson, Mark Pierson and niece, Sharon Smith Gesler. Her husband, Charles Nimietz, passed away January 27, 2012. Her parents, Bert and Gertrude Hodges, sisters, Arlene, LaVerne and Donna and brother, Bert are also deceased. Arrangements entrusted to Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
