Goldie G. Leber (97) passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at The Residence of Chardon. Born October 26, 1914 in the village of Glouster, Ohio, Mrs. Leber was a longtime Northeast Ohio resident, living in Willoughby for ten years before moving to Chardon in 2005. Goldie worked as a realtor for Upson Realty during the 50's and 60's. She was a great cook, an amazing homemaker, and an avid reader who felt happiest when spending time with her family. Goldie is survived by two sons, Dave (Marlene) Leber and Paul (Donna) Leber of Chardon; one grandson, Michael (Jennifer) Leber and one great grandson Ryan of Willowick, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Harland, her parents John and Rose (Dudash) Magas and brothers, John, George, Alex, Leonard and Lewis. Memorial services for Goldie G. Leber will be 8 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at The Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate.
