Harold C. Gearhart, 87, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was born July 2, 1929, in Plum Creek Township, PA.<br><br>Harold was a U.S. Air Force veteran and proudly served during the Korean Conflict. He was employed for many years with Towmotor/Caterpillar as well as Willoughby-Eastlake schools.<br><br>Harold was a member of the VFW Post #3863. Over the years he enjoyed bowling, golfing and, most of all spending time with his family and friends.<br><br>He is survived by his wife, Marie Louise Gearhart; daughters, Rosemarie Kuharick (Richard) and Leslie Valdez; grandchildren, Erica Boenker (Matt), Krista McCulloch (Justin), Nina Jaques and Joshua Valdez; great-grandson, Issac McCulloch; sister, Wilda Markby; and nephews, Fred Shaffer (Rosalie), Albert Gearhart, Joey Gearhart, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Laura Gearhart and 10 siblings.<br><br>Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, OH, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. A private military honors burial ceremony will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville OH at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

Harold C. Gearhart, 87, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was born July 2, 1929, in Plum Creek Township, PA.
