Harry L. Shouse Obituary

Services for Harry L. Shouse, 94, of Willoughby, will be at 8 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, prior to the service.

Mr. Shouse passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services in Willoughby.

Born September 15, 1919 in Lola, KY, he has lived in Willoughby since 1971.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel, KY; the brotherhood of railroad trainmen and was a World War II United States Army veteran.

Mr. Shouse was employed by the former Conrail Railroad in the Collinwood Yards for 43 years, retiring in
1982.

Survivors are his grandchildren, Paula (Steve) Pinkerman of Euclid, Vicki (Mike) Chepelsky of Painesville Township and David Brown, Jr. of Ashtabula and great grandchildren, Lucas and Elise Chepelsky.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maryanne Brown on May 4, 2009; his parents, Amon and Gracie (Manhart) Shouse and his brother, Louis Shouse.

Final resting place will be in Bethel Cemetery in Lola, Kentucky.
