Memorial mass for Helen M. (Abron) Klauss, 94, of Willoughby will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 32114 Vine Street, Willowick where the family will receive friends 10-11 AM on Saturday, prior to the Mass.
Mrs. Klauss passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 in Willoughby.
She was born September 14, 1921 in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Klauss was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed golfing, was a longtime member of the Mayfield Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Mayfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and was proud of her Lithuanian heritage. She was a people person, enjoying time with family and friends and welcomed everyone into her home. She will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Klauss was a Licensed Surgical Nurse and an IV Specialist at the former Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Survivors include her children, Jake (Cynthia) Marx, Martha “Marty” Cromwell, and Elaine (Luciano) Frau; grandchildren, Matt (Alix) and Mike (Tracy) Marx; Tessa (Courtney) Smith; Scott, Mark (Lisa), Jeff (Barb) and Laura Molter; Lou (Heidi) and Joe Sziriski and Eli (Jayne) Gerhard and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Klauss, her parents, Anthony and Martha Sinkavich, brother, Anthony and longtime friend, Bob Kral.
