Herbert Suchetka

Services for Herbert “Hobbs” Suchetka, 88, formerly of Willoughby, will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the funeral home.

Hobbs passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his home in Bradenton, Florida.

Born November 7, 1928 in Fairpoint, OH, he had lived in Willoughby 57 years before moving to Bradenton two years ago.

Mr. Suchetka was a die cast operator before his retirement.

Survivors are his daughters, Cindy (Don) Martin and Michele Hoss and grandsons, Matthew Martin, Andrew Hoss and Jacob Hoss.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Rosemarie on June 23, 2013. His parents, Jesse and Regina (Klapper) Suchetka, one brother, three sisters and son-in-law, Ed Hoss are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Saturday.
