Funeral service for Izidor “Izzy” Kotiga, 71, of Eastlake will be 10 AM Friday, April 7, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the funeral home.
Mr. Kotiga passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Willoughby. He was born April 1, 1946 in Croatia.
He worked as a welder for 46 years at ATI in Mentor, retiring in 2015. Izzy enjoyed camping, hunting, putting on pig roasts, and especially enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include his siblings in Croatia, Ana Lujanac, Ida Beletic, Olga Babic, Zlatko Kotiga, Josip Kotiga, and Miljenko Kotiga; children, Terri Ruggiero, Becca Glazier, Richard Sullivan Jr., and John (Tina) Sullivan; grandchildren, Bill, Kelly, Michael, Matthew, Marc, Deanna, Richard, Katie, Thomas, Gabriel, and Carlos; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter. He also leaves behind many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and lifelong companion, Becky M. Sullivan.
Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
