James A. Green, 87, passed away peacefully April 1, 2016 at his home in Eastlake with family by his side. <br><br>James was born September 3, 1928 in Tracy City, TN where he met his beloved wife of 59 years, Betty Ray (Campbell). <br><br>James was a machinist and painter; retiring from National Acme after 30+ years. He was a decorated U.S. Navy Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. James was also an ordained minister who enjoyed sharing the Lord’s Word. James and Betty’s true joy came from hosting cookouts, birthdays, and holiday parties at their home which always included tractor rides for their 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.<br><br>He is survived by his loving wife Betty; children, Jimmy (Judy), Michael, Ken (Ritchie), Ann (Mike), Dona (Anthony), Janie (John), David (Patti), Linda (John) and Brenda (Steve); brothers, Chester (Helen) and Cleston (Diane) and sister Velma (Jim). <br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lena and sisters, Bertha, Elsie, Margie, and Cleo. <br><br>Family will receive friends 4:00 -7:00 P.M.
