Services for James G. Meadows, age 82, of Eastlake will be Tuesday at 10 AM at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4254 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Mr. Meadows died July 18, 2013 at his Eastlake home after a short illness.

He was born in Barn, WV, on January 26, 1931, to Frank and Charlotte (Foley) Meadows.

James joined the US Army in February, 1948 and served as a hospital medical tech until February, 1950. He married Delma Vincill in 1952 and they remained together for 57 years until her death in 2009. They were Eastlake residents for more than 51 years.

Mr. Meadows was a tool and die maker for Fisher Body Works for more than 30 years, retiring in 1983

Survivors are his children Patty (Cliff) Freeman of Eastlake, James (Marie) Meadows of Garrettsville, David Meadows of Lakeside, OH, Donald Meadows of Perry Twp and John (Nancy) Meadows of Eastlake, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother Alvin Meadows of Kirtland and a sister-in-law Faye Neal of Cedar Bluff, VA.

James is preceded by his wife Delma, sons, Jerry Lee and Robert Meadows, grandson Edward Meadows, brother, Ralph Meadows and sister, Jean Walker.
