Jean Nancy Bures

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean N. Bures, 94, of Euclid, will be at 10 AM on Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018, (today), at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Born on February 5, 1924 in Buffalo, New York, Jean passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Mentor Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Jean worked at Richmond Restaurant for many years. She truly loved being with her family and playing bingo.

Survivors include her children, Carol (Frank) Eberling, Robert (Roberta) Bures, and Sandra Bures; grandchildren, Frank (Lindsey) Eberling, Joseph Eberling, Deanna (Nick) Laudato, and Robert Bures; great-grandson, Frank James Eberling; sisters, Josephine Shorf, Nancy (Donald) Spatny, Fran Spatney, and Lena Trusnik and brother, Charles (Peggy) Zarbo. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Bures in 1980. Her parents, Leonard and Jenny Zarbo; sister, Rose Polly and brothers, Nick and Frank Zarbo are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
