Jean Marie Vantine

Memorial services for Jean Marie (Good)Vantine, 92, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills. The Rev. Max R.T. Beery will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, prior to the service at the Church, and at a reception following the Church memorial service at 12:30 PM at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village Grace Woods Campus, 36200 Ridge Road, Willoughby. There will be valet parking available at Grace Woods to assist and direct you to the reception.

Mrs. Vantine passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born September 24, 1926 in Elmira, NY, she has lived in the northeast Ohio area for the past 17 years.

She attended Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Beachland Presbyterian Church in Euclid. She was very involved in activities at Breckenridge Village in Willoughby and enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and playing cards with her friends and family.

Mrs. Vantine was a nurse by training, and enjoyed being a caregiver.

Surviviors are her daughters, Lauralee (W. Nicholas) Howley and Suzanne (Gerald) Broska; grandchildren, Peter (Toni) Howley, Heather (Gregg) Stierheim, Brent (Sarah) Macrow, Michael (Kendra) Howley and Margaret (Michael) Mitkus and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1995. Her parents, Hugh and Martha (Porter) Good, a brother and a sister are also deceased.

Private family interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elmira, New York.
