A memorial service for Joan D. Tomasik age 77 of Kirtland will be held in September at the Community of Christ Church in Kirtland. Elder Steven Davidson will conduct the service on a date yet to be announced.
Mrs. Tomasik passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Born March 30, 1938 in Cleveland, she was a lifelong Kirtland resident.
Joan was a secretary and book keeper for 30 years at Community of Christ Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Lynn) of Fort Myers, FL, Larry of Painesville, Thomas, of Kirtland; daughter Linda (Ronald, Jr.) Crouse of Kirtland; grandchildren, Stacy Eppes, Chad Tomasik, Ronald Crouse III and Courtney Crouse, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mildred (Cartwright) Davidson, her husband of 40 years, Louis J. Tomasik and brother, Gerald Davidson.
