Memorial services for Kenneth Howard Scanlon, 77, of Willowick, will be at 7:30 PM on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM, prior to the service.<br>Mr. Scanlon passed away at his home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 surrounded by his family.<br>Born December 17, 1936 in Cleveland, he lived in Mentor before moving to Willowick 39 years ago.<br>He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1955-1963. He was also a past member of the former Forest Hills Masonic Lodge and a member and Past Commodore of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club. <br>Mr. Scanlon was a machinist by trade, having worked at the former White Motor Company and most recently at Apollo Products in Willoughby, retiring five years ago.<br>Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Jeanne (Reeve) Scanlon; children, Michael (Connie) Scanlon of Munson Twp., Kendra (Paul) Whitcomb of Eastlake, Marjorie Heise of Willowick and Kevin (Christine) Scanlon of Eastlake; grandchildren, Christopher (Melanie) Scanlon, Ryan (Kristen) Scanlon, Kyle (Lisa) Scanlon, Larry Seymour, Brandy Burnett, Aaron (Jamie) Seymour, Misty Scanlon, Kristina Scanlon, Sean Scanlon, Caitlin Scanlon; great grandchildren, Mason, Grant, Sabella, Stella, Makenzie, Jaxson and Isabella.<br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lillian (George) Scanlon.<br>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to University Hospitals Hospice, 11100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106-5000 or Toys for Tots, c/o Col.
