<p>Funeral services for Lenore C. (Tessmer) Nida, 100, of Willoughby, a homemaker, will be at 11AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby where the family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM, prior to the service.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Nida passed away December 29, 2015 at Briar Hill Nursing Center in Middlefield Village. </p><p><br></p><p>She was born May 18, 1915 in Berea. </p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed listening to books on tape, watching old movies, and her cat Chessie. She was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her son Dennis (Gloria) Nida; niece, Linda (Vince) Boravic; nephews Robert (Jane) Tessmer, Sr., Michael Masters, and Timothy Tessmer. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford D. NIda in 2000. Her siblings, Margaret Masters and Theodore, Howard and Robert Tessmer are deceased.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
