Services for Linda Carol (Cornwell) Medves, 61, of Munson Twp., will be at 10 AM on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Linda passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born December 4, 1951 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Mentor resident before moving to Munson Twp. four years ago.

She was a pet lover and enjoyed playing the piano.

Linda was employed as a cashier at the Speedway in Willoughby.

Survivors are her children, Kristen Medves of Bradenton, FL and Brian Medves of Mentor; granddaughter, Sabrina and brother, William Cornwell of Munson Twp. She also leaves many cousins and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Anthony Medves, Jr. in 1982; her father, Hugh Gene Cornwell in 2004 and her mother, Helen Dolores (Dobranic) Cornwell in 2006.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the funeral home. The Rev. Michael J. Currier of the Body of Christ Community Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in South Kirtland Cemetery.
