Funeral services for Lorelle (Marhoefer) Behrend, 78, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Christian L.I.F.E. Church, 8250 Garfield Road, Mentor.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Lorelle passed away January 4, 2019 in Richmond Heights. Born November 29, 1940 in Cleveland, she has lived in Mentor since 1965.

Lorelle was a teacher in the Willoughby-Eastlake School System for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. She was an active member of Christian L.I.F.E. Church in Mentor. She was involved in the Red Hats Society and the Retired Teachers Association.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, attending the theater, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Adam (Jennifer) Behrend and Nicole (Paul) Dworning; grandchildren, Alyssa, Annika, Juliea, Sam, and Benjamin; sister, Georgia (Tom) Magalen; niece, Shelly (Spence) Culpepper and nephew, Craig (Lori) Magalen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. C. Behrend in 2010. Her parents, George and Edith (Acker) Marhoefer are also deceased.
