Memorial services for Lorene Tribble, 95, of Willoughby, will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. A graveside service and interment will follow at Willoughby Memorial Gardens in Willoughby. The Rev. Larry A. Pozza of Erieside Church on the Boulevard in Willowick will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Tribble passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, GA. Born July 27, 1916, in Hillsboro, TN, she was a resident of Willoughby for over 60 years before moving to Duluth, GA in 2008. Lorene was a member of Erieside Church on the Boulevard in Willowick as well as a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was an employee of A&P Grocery Stores, Penny Pincher Foods and McDonald's. Lorene enjoyed working to keep herself young, only quitting due to a broken wrist at age 88.
She is survived by her son Joe (Wendy) Tribble of Duluth, GA; grandchildren, Jon (Nancy) Tribble of De Pere, WI; Michelle (Don) Churchill of Powell, OH and Laura (Bob) Hager of Columbus, OH; five great-grandchildren and brother, J.D. Brawley of Hillsboro, TN.
Lorene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard Tribble and daughter Delores "Dee" Chesko.
