Funeral services for Marie A. (Jordan) Francis, 78, of Willoughby, will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 28, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, 4785 Shankland Boulevard, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Marie passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019, in Chardon, after a long illness and is finally at rest.

Born October 6, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, she has lived in Willoughby for more than 50 years.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and her cats.

Marie was an Assistant Manager at Charter One in Willoughby for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele Francis; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Francis; grandsons, Matthew Francis and Benjamin (Laura) Francis; great-grandchildren, Luke, Paige, Faith, Hope, and Anna; sister, Roseann (Robert) Kurrle; brothers, Ken (Louise) Jordan and Jim (Sharon) Jordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell R. Francis in 2016 and daughter, Nickie A. Hoover in 1996.

Her companion, Melvin Simcheck, her brother, Edward Jordan and her parents, Edward and Nicolena Jordan are also deceased.

Marie’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Mary Ann Francis for her unending care of

Marie and Michele over the past several years.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated for the care of Michele Francis.
