Memorial services to celebrate the lives of Robert J. and Marilyn C. (Rice) Auer, formerly of Willoughby, will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby. The Rev. David N. Martin will officiate at the service.

Robert passed away May 31, 2012 and Marilyn passed away December 19, 2012.

They were longtime Willoughby residents before moving to the A.M. McGregor home in East Cleveland four years ago.

They were members of Willoughby United Methodist Church, Shaker Heights Country Club, and were avid golfers.

They were the devoted parents of Karen (Jon) Munson of Chagrin Falls, Judy (Gary) Welch of Newtown, PA and Robert (Vicki) Auer of Colorado; grandparents of Todd, Heather, Sarah, Gary, Amy, Brigette, Charlie and Stella and great grandparents of five.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the A.M. McGregor Home, 14900 Private Drive, East Cleveland, OH 44112 or Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby, OH 44094.
