Martin J. Fritsch

Funeral services for Martin J. Fritsch, 86, of Willoughby, will be at 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the funeral home.

Marty passed away July 5, 2017 at Lake West Medical Center.

He was born April 14, 1931 in Cleveland.

Marty was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He also served in the Ohio Army National Guard. He was a radio technician at Lost Nation Airport for over 25 years.

Marty enjoyed building model airplanes and restoring cars. He had a true love for all animals. His greatest devotion was to his wife and family.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Fritsch; children, Cathy (Mike) Pietila, Martin (Rollin Jarrett) Fritsch, Jr., Debbra (Vic) Peroni, and Michael (Sarah) Fritsch; grandchildren, Shannon, Brian, Jerry, Kyle, Patrick, Caitlynn, and Connor; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Madelyn, Jesse, Wren, Christina, Dustin, and Miranda and sister, Rosemary Fritsch.

He was preceded in death by his grandsons, Marc Ackley and Mike Harwood; brother, Richard Fritsch and parents, Martin and Rosina Fritsch.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
