Services for Mary Ann (Whittington) Kirby, 77, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirby passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at her home in Mentor.
Born April 16, 1941 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Lake County resident.
She was a member of Willoughby Bible Church and an avid bowler in her younger years.
Mrs. Kirby was employed as an educational aide in the Mentor Public Schools for 21 years before her retirement.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Roger; children, Robin Kirby, Roger Kirby, II (Diana West) and Brian (Holly) Kirby; granddaughters, Kaitlin and Marianna and siblings, Tom (Helga) Whittington, Wayne (Debbie) Whittington and Kathy Reed. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Geraldine (Weaver) Whittington and sister, Iris Reichard.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
