Memorial services for Mary Pat (Pacula) Opatrny, 88, of Eastlake, will be at 8 PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, from 5-8 PM.

Mrs. Opatrny passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born December 4, 1924 in Cleveland, she has lived in Lake County for more than 40 years.

She was an avid golfer and bowler, playing up until age 85. She also loved to sew, cook and watch the food channel and NCIS.

Mrs. Opatrny was the former owner of Surfside Pizza in Eastlake for 15 years and also worked in the bakery at the former Finast Supermarket in Mentor for 14 years.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Opatrny of Eastlake and Patrick (Kelly) Opatrny of Mentor; grandchildren, Ashley Hodge and Patrick J. “P.J.” (Lisa) Opatrny; great grandchildren, Patrick, Mathew, Nathan, Lucas, Landon, Isaac, Emily and Dylan and her sister, Stephanie (Sam) Jaryga of Broadview Heights.

Her daughter, Debra Opatrny and her parents, Onufry and Olga (Czeckes) Pacula are deceased.

Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland.
