Memorial services for Melissa K. “Mitzi” Brumagin, 68, of Willoughby, will be at 7 PM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Larry A. Pozza of ShadeTree Community Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mitzi passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Born February 3, 1950 in Cleveland, she was a lifelong Willoughby resident.

She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles, watching sports on television, visiting the ocean and beach but most especially being a grandma.

Mitzi was employed as the Director of Human Resources at Breckenridge Village in Willoughby. She retired in 2016 after 36 years of service.

Survivors are her husband of 48 years, Keith “Chip”; son, Christopher (Yvonne); grandsons, Wesley and Connor; sister, Jane Simonelli; nephew, John (Lori) Simonelli and their daughters Jennifer, Nicole, Taylor; niece, Sharon (Ed) Fujs and their son Max.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabelle (Wenino) Boyle and brother-in-law, Richard Simonelli.
