A celebration of the life of Michael D. Bolaney, 55, of Geauga County, will at 5 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Sunday, prior to the celebration.

He passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness.

Michael was born November 23, 1963 in Cleveland and was raised in Mentor. He attended Mentor High School before enlisting in the Army at age 17. He was honorably discharged from active duty in 1985 and from reserve duty in 1987.

After his military service, he returned to Lake County until he married and moved to Geauga County where he has been a long time resident.

He loved to hunt, fish, garden and just be outside.

Survivors are his mother, Patricia (Steele) Bolaney-Tiner of Euclid, siblings, John (Patty) Bolaney of Mentor, Tony Bolaney of St. Petersburg, FL, sister, Christine (Robert) Young of Mentor and Mark Bolaney of Chardon. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

Final resting place will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery
